Inspiring Life-long Learning for 25 Years

Last week the third grade traveled to Angelic Organics in Caledonia, IL for a three day camping adventure. We tended plants and animals on the farm and learned about sustainable, organic farming practices. This trip is paramount to the third grade curriculum as it dives into the study of farming—allowing the students to put much of what they have learned this year into practice. As themes of living on the earth and practical projects weave throughout our work, our class was able to see first hand what it means to live in the natural world.
