School-wide Eurythmy Block Begins Next Week

We are very excited that Mark Ebersole will be coming to DVWS to provide our students with a three week block of Eurythmy! Eurythmy is a discipline of original artistic movement that strives to make language and music visible. It is a vital part of Waldorf curriculum. From a pedagogical standpoint, the purpose of Eurythmy is to awaken and strengthen the expressive capacities of children through movement. Eurythmy improves balance, coordination, focus, concentration, rhythm, and awareness of patterns. Eurythmy directly translates into excellent articulation of speech, and excellent thoughts when writing.
