With a rhythm that mirrors our early childhood classrooms, the Parent-Child program is bridge for families into Waldorf education.
Storytelling
Storytelling, circle games, and seasonal crafts are the building blocks of our day. Simple wooden toys and child-size furnishings create a cozy sanctuary for sprouting imaginations.
Classrooms
Classrooms are naturally lit with window and candlelight and decorated with fresh flowers from our gardens when the season permits. Together we bake bread for our daily snack.
Outdoors
Time outdoors is a priority—sunshine, rain, or snow. Our campus has gardens and playgrounds made of natural materials—wood, rope, sand, and earth—where children can run, swing, climb, and explore.
Parents often make discoveries of their own during our classes, as we discuss the importance of establishing a rhythm at home and how best to implement Waldorf principles in their own family lives.
We offer classes for children aged 1 to 4 years to attend with a parent, grandparent, or caregiver.
Classes meet once weekly and offer children rich opportunities, indoors and out, to develop their bodies and engage their minds.
Expectant mothers, new mothers and babies 6 months and under are warmly invited to join our Waldorf community.
