Parent-Child classes mirror the rhythms and activities of a Waldorf Early Childhood classroom.
Parents/caregivers accompany their children (ages 18 months - 3.5 years) in:
- circle and story time
- creating simple crafts
- baking bread
- playing games
- outdoor play and physical movement
Parents have an opportunity to mingle with each other to discover the framework of Waldorf-inspired best practices, explore the importance of rhythm in the home, the role of early movement in motor organization and speech development, and how to support children's budding interest in play—the work of early childhood.
Each session meets once per week 8:45 a.m. - 11:00 a.m.
Parents wishing to sign up for both Mondays and Fridays, please speak with Ms. Margaret first to confirm that space is available.
Children and parents are welcome to join at any time during the session for a prorated fee.
