Craniosacral Therapy Information Session

Please join us for a Craniosacral Therapy Information Session on October 23rd to discuss Craniosacral Therapy and Children with Paul Norden, RCST.

Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy (BCST) is a somatic therapy that doctors, chiropractors, physical therapists and psychotherapists have been increasingly referring their clients to in order to resolve the underlying causes of physical tension, restriction and anxiety, and the inability of the nervous system to down-regulate into a relaxed state.  These underlying causes are most often due to physical and/or psychosomatic traumas that arise from a wide spectrum of human experience, which can begin at birth process or earlier. In BCST, a light contact-touch with the hands is used to facilitate a deepening into a relaxed state where the therapist orients to the underlying forces of Wellbeing within the body.  These innate forces of Wellbeing, called the Tides, engage with, release and relax the imprint of trauma that underlies tension in the nervous system and the physical restriction of structures and tissues in the body.  This, in turn, supports the down-regulation of the nervous system to return to a normal self-regulating state.

Paul is a Nationally Certified Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapist, living and practicing full-time in Albany Park, Chicago since 2014.
