Da Vinci Waldorf School was named Best Private School by the Daily Herald in 2023!
Thank you to everyone in our community (& beyond!)who voted for our school. As we celebrate our 25th anniversary this year, we find ourselves looking around at all this "little school that started in a room in a church back in 1998" has achieved. We could not have done it without the consistent effort of our teachers and staff, the investments made by our donors, and the commitment from our students and their families. We are proud to be your favorite private school in the area and we don't take that title lightly.
We like to do things differently around here. It is our mission to teach children to embrace learning through a developmentally-appropriate, multidisciplinary, experiential curriculum which leads to clear and critical thinking, ethical and compassionate actions, and the ability to make a difference in the world. Our community includes families from northwest Cook County, Lake and McHenry counties.
What is next for us? The school is in the beginning stages of a campus expansion to increase classroom and community space on our 3-acre campus. We are committed to excellent programming for all of our students - from Parent-Child to 8th Grade!
