Calling all Parents and Caregivers!
Join the PTO on Sunday, October 13th from 2-4 PM for an exciting afternoon of AIM & FLAME – javelin throwing and enjoying delicious soup and bread baked in our cob oven!
Movement teacher, Alex Boshell, will be demonstrating proper javelin throwing techniques. Any interested adults can join in and give it a try.
We’re excited to share this experience with our adult community, offering a glimpse into what our fifth graders are preparing for: the Pentathlon! This spring, our fifth grade students will compete with other Waldorf schools in events such as javelin, discus, foot racing, long jump, and Greek wrestling. This Pentathlon is a culmination of their study of Greek mythology and history, where they will re-enact some of the original Olympic Games.
