Inspiring life-long learning in all students.
Our 4th and 5th graders recently completed in-depth state reports as part of their North American Geography block. Much more than a simple report, this was a multi-layered learning experience that included the use of research to write a paper, learning how to grid and draw maps, use of the composition and language arts skills they've learned this year, as well as building their presentation skills through presenting their projects to the class. Shown here are the posters they created for their chosen states, inviting people to visit. Integration of many elements of learning into one cohesive project—the Waldorf way!
