Pat Ackles of Pat's Decoys (and Jessica Vealitzek's step-dad) will join us for our Kindermarket event on November 18th.
He will be teaching the older children (grade 5 and up) the basics of carving and whittling, and will lead them through the creation of their very own piece, which they will be able to take home!
Pat is a self-taught carver, using the flat-plane style of carving that originated in Scandinavia and is popular in modern caricature carving. Stop by next Saturday; your upper grades child won't want to miss this!
