Dear Sunflower Garden Families,
Today Ms. Griffith brought in branches of snowy May for May Day! We danced with them around our circle singing songs we'll sing while dancing around the May Pole on May 16. We visited classrooms and delivered a branch of snowy May to the teachers while we sang "Here's a branch of snowy May, a branch the fairies gave me. Would you like to dance today with a branch the fairies gave me? Dance away! Dance Away! Holding high the branch of May!"
What a fun and enthusiastic auction evening! Thanks to all who contributed, attended, and plan to do it next April! Mark your calendars for our May Faire on Saturday, May 16, from 2-6 p.m.! See the sign up in the front foyer. Come. Work one shift if able. Enjoy!Next week we celebrate two birthdays! Happy new year of life to these two garden children.
A reminder: Please pick up children between 12:25 and 12:30 and for Extended Day between 3:25 and 3:30. A $ 10 late pick up fee is charged at 12:40 and 3:40. Thanks for respecting this.
Please check baskets to make sure you have seasonally appropriate extra clothes. We really used up some after our wet play on Thursday! It was puddle-wonderful!
In the busy and beautiful spring breeze, it is easy to lose sight of reverent, contemplative, and restful moments...so much fun is in the air! Here is a prayer to send these very active spring children off to bedtime dreamland. Hope if helps bring some gentle calmness to your day.
