What is Scrip?
Scrip is a fundraising program for schools that allows individuals to purchase gift cards for everyday purposes (gas, groceries, restaurants and more.) Gift cards can be hard copy or electronic/printable. The first exciting feature is that a percentage (anywhere from 2-15%) of the price goes back to the school. Even more exciting news: DVWS will be sharing the profits from this program with participating families by applying 50% of funds raised by a given family to their tuition bill!
EC Parent Kristin Floress will be heading up this initiative. She would like to get everything set up and running smoothly this summer in preparation for a full roll-out this fall.
