School Closings - Procedure Update

That time of year has come upon us with a blast of frigid cold and snow. We wish to update you regarding our school closing procedure before severe weather is upon us. We also encourage you to check the website at www.emergencyclosingcenter.com if the weather is severe.

We will be following the lead of Wauconda School District 118 for weather-related closings or late starts to the school day. We believe this will make it much more streamlined for communication. Da Vinci Waldorf School will also be listed on the emergency closing center as quickly as possible to ensure our families are not venturing out in challenging weather.

In the event we need to dismiss early, please expect to be contacted via email or phone to make arrangements for picking up your child/ren. We will ensure that all children, along with faculty and staff are able to be safe and warm during the cold winter days.
