Maypole Event at the Andrew C. Cook House in Wauconda

Last Sunday several Da Vinci Waldorf families gathered at the Andrew C. Cook House in Wauconda. We partnered with the Wauconda Historical Society to demonstrate the maypole.  During downtime, children made dandelion chains,  played in the green space, and toured the house. One fourth grade student served as a terrific leader for the younger students by leading the songs and helping everyone keep pace around the maypole. Thank you to the Cangas, Hulls, Martins, Melchers, and Teglemans for making this event a great success!
