The DaVinci Waldorf School Kindermarket is a magical community event for everyone. Enjoy children's crafts & activities, parent-merchants, delicious snacks, treats and warm refreshments, music, and much more all in one place on Saturday, November 18th from 1pm – 4pm!
CHILDREN'S ACTIVITIES & CRAFTS
| STORY TIME: Come and enjoy 2 wonderful, spirited stories from one of our beloved Waldorf teachers. LOVED by kids of all ages and one of my favorite activities at this event! | FACE PAINTING / WASHABLE TATTOOS: A creative team of face painters will be waiting to help bring your child's imagination to life with beautiful face painting and washable tattoos. | REINDEER GAMES: Play with a puzzle while waiting for your turn in getting an amazing holiday themed face painting or a washable tattoo. |
| LITTLE ELVES' CRAFT SHOP: There are five wonderful activities for children of all ages. Using candy canes and pipes cleaners, children will be making not only tasty, but cute looking reindeers! Children will make their own holiday ornaments using pipe cleaners and cookie cutters, beaded snowflakes and wreaths made of colorful pom poms. Lastly, children will learn how to make their own musical reindeer out of crafting sticks and jingle bells. We will have Elves assisting children with their crafting skills! So much fun in this Craft Shoppe! You don’t want to miss it out! | HOLIDAY TRAIN: Toot! Toot! All Aboard! The Holiday Train is a must for children ages 2-12. Weather Permitting...we will have train rides on school grounds. | |
CHILDREN'S SHOPPE
Our Elves will help your child select and wrap lovely hand-made gifts for family members. You give your child a little bit to spend (most gifts range between 1 acorn($1) - 5 acorns($5)). The children can then embark on their own shopping excursion in this NO-PARENTS-ALLOWED activity. Children get to experience the spirit of giving, and they love to surprise you!
WINTER WONDERLAND
While kids are shopping, adults can relax and enjoy their friends and family, featuring Da Vinci Waldorf Parent Merchants sharing their talents and passion (Spoiler alert - such as a fresh chocolate straight from the Riverside Chocolate Factory or a Chair Massage or… Come and check it all out!
FOOD & DRINK
Rudolf's Snack Shoppe will serve delicious home-baked desserts, festive snacks & warm and cold refreshments!
ENTERTAINMENT
No celebration is a true event without some music! Our beloved music/orchestra teacher, Elizabeth English, never ceases to surprise us with her passion for music. Please stop in and enjoy some live music and smooth holiday jazz.
