Inside the Classroom 5/1

Be a fly on the wall through these captured moments inside a Waldorf classroom.

Poem

7th Grade Poetry, "The Poachers' Victims"

In the past man feared what was once called a predator.
Now predator fears prey.
Pink is a despicable color,
White is what makes them rich.
12,000 pounds of beauty and the only thing you find pretty are the stones that grow from its head?

You kill one and you kill them all.
Animals have emotions too!

Four babies, five teens, ten mothers, and one matriarch wail in a circle around the body of their sister, their mother, their cousin, their aunt.
Her babies wail,
Her sisters cry,
And all because of a greedy hunter who wanted to get rich on the illegal market.
