First Grade Friday Feast continues to be a favorite time of the week. This week we fashioned pretzels along with the traditional favorite bread roll.
On Thursday we had a guest in our room, Mrs. Griffith, the handwork teacher. She brought a very special gift for our Mighty Oaks - little balls of yarn for finger knitting.
We will have a spring bus evacuation drill on Wednesday, 3/14 at 9:00 AM, only for Mighty Oaks, 1st and 2nd Grades. They will not leave the parking lot.
In painting, colors emerged from a rainbow cloud. Students are now working with many colors together, applying their understanding of complementary, primary, secondary, and contrasting colors.
