Aftercare Teacher

Da Vinci Waldorf School seeks an Aftercare teacher for Da Vinci Waldorf School’s Aftercare program. The Aftercare program is offered for students Monday thru Friday from 3:30 - 6:00 PM. Held at school, the program offers a home-like feel and setting.  Students spend their time in a variety of ways, including outdoor play, art, homework, snack time, crafting and handwork, socializing, board games and more.

An Aftercare teacher is responsible for tracking attendance, creating/following a schedule/rhythm which allows for free time, snack time and structured activities when appropriate.

Flexibility and critical-thinking skills
Patience
Excellent interpersonal skills
Ability to lead and instruct students of all ages
Pass a background check

Compensation: 
The Aftercare teacher is a part-time hourly employee and paid $20/hour.
