If symptoms are not better after 5 days, the person must stay out as long as needed to meet the criteria for returning: must be fever/vomit/diarrhea free for 24 hours with no fever reducing medicine, with improved symptoms.

CLOSE CONTACTS:

The quarantining of close contacts is no longer a recommendation of the CDC.  When we receive notification of a positive case we will count back 2 days from the onset of symptoms or positive test result and see either what class the student was in, or what class/s the faculty/staff member was in.  We will notify the necessary families that someone has tested positive, and to monitor their child for symptoms.

REPORTING TO LCHD:

We are no longer required to report positive cases or close contacts to the Lake County Health Department.  We will be updating our Covid CaseTracker and sending in email newsletter on a monthly basis to our community.
