Announcing our 2017 “Take Flight” Alumni Grant Recipient

Congratulations to this year's “Take Flight” grant recipient:  Nila Stokes

Nila graduated from DVWS in 2014. She is being awarded $200, which she will use toward her college tuition at McHenry County College, where she has been taking college classes for the past two years in lieu of attending public high school. Nila hopes to become either a special education teacher or an occupational therapist.

We wish her well and look forward to hearing about her successes!
