2nd & 3rd Grades - Fables, Math, Old Testament Stories & Measurement

After the play block, second graders returned to fables and math, and third graders to Old Testament stories and a study of measurement.
In this fable, the ape and the elephant learn by working together that each has different strengths. Rather that thinking one was better than the other, they saw that personal attributes are valuable in different ways.
In the third grade painting the young King Solomon is receiving  wisdom from God. Most biblical proverbs can be attributed to Solomon.
