Welcome to a new year of delicious lunch at DVWS! Once again Mrs. English will be preparing and serving lunch. Lunch and snack will be offered Monday through Friday with occasional days off due to school events or travel. Please try and be aware of class field trips etc. when you fill out your order form. Order online or use paper forms and the payment box that will be available in the lower right corner of the parent mailboxes. Lunch service will begin the second week of school on Monday, September 9th.
Most ingredients will be organic, and most foods made from scratch. Lunch (or snack, or both) will include at least 1 vegetable and 1 fruit. Snacks will be provided each day and will include 2 or 3 options such as: fruits, vegetables, cheese, eggs, homemade quick breads, popcorn, chips, pretzels, and the like. Desserts will be occasional and at random, but always from scratch. All food is lovingly prepared off site by Mrs. English.
