I’m a proud parent of three Da Vinci Waldorf School students: one in 2nd grade, one in Early Childhood, and one in Parent-Child. I earned my Bachelor of Science in Biology and my Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 2010. Currently, I’m a small animal exclusive practitioner.

What drew me to the Waldorf approach is how it fosters a true love of learning. I appreciate that it allows kids to move freely, create their own textbooks, and explore traditional skills like knitting, cooking, setting the table with proper manners, and gardening. The focus on learning through outdoor exploration, games, play, and hands-on activities is a refreshing contrast to the rigidity of sitting at a desk for hours each day.

I love that my girls are excited to go to Da Vinci Waldorf School and also enjoy the Early Childhood bread rolls and soup! I hope my girls graduate from Da Vinci Waldorf School with a lifelong joy and desire for learning.

In my free time, I enjoy furniture restoration, running, biking, swimming, and crafting with my daughters.
