As a Da Vinci parent, serving on the Board of Trustees is both an honor and a meaningful responsibility. I'm hoping to bring a fresh perspective to the board based on my extensive experience building and operating several businesses. As an entrepreneur who built a business without outside investors, I learned how to stretch every dollar, build sustainable budgets, and scale responsibly. My goal is to apply this real-world experience to help Da Vinci Waldorf School establish a robust and resilient financial foundation.

I moved to the United States at the age of 13. It was a very challenging transition. I didn't speak any English, and I only had one year before high school. Because of this experience, I developed a deep appreciation for the diverse ways people learn and grow. In 2014, I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Phoenix while managing professional responsibilities and planning entrepreneurial ventures.

My introduction to Waldorf education came from searching for an alternative to conventional schooling. What I love most about Da Vinci Waldorf School is how intentionally it nurtures the whole child, fostering intellectual curiosity, creativity, emotional growth, and practical capability. Da Vinci offers an environment where learning is hands-on, childhood is respected, and students are encouraged to think independently, solve problems thoughtfully, and connect meaningfully with nature and their peers.

Outside of work, my favorite way to spend my free time is to completely unplug with my family. We love being outdoors and on the water, so boating and fishing together are common during the warmer months. Whenever I get a quiet window for myself, I love taking my motorcycle out on the open road for a few hours.
