Anita Zagraniczny

Business Manager

My connection to Waldorf education is personal and deeply meaningful. My family began our Waldorf journey in the Parent-Child program at Da Vinci Waldorf when my daughter was just three years old. Over the years, we experienced the richness of Waldorf education firsthand, culminating in her completing a year of high school at a Waldorf school in Avignon, France. These experiences gave me a lasting appreciation for the depth, intention, and heart of Waldorf education, and I am truly grateful to now return to Da Vinci Waldorf in a professional capacity.

As Business Manager, I bring extensive experience in financial leadership within mission-driven organizations. My background spans roles in the federal government, leadership positions in national and international nonprofits, and running my own business. I earned my bachelor’s degree from Northwestern University and a Master of Public Policy with a concentration in Finance from the University of Chicago. I am honored to support Da Vinci Waldorf’s mission through careful financial stewardship and a collaborative, service-oriented approach.

Outside of my professional work, I am an American Kennel Club conformation judge and a breeder of Staffordshire Bull Terriers—proof that while I love financial statements, I also enjoy a little bit of joyful chaos.
