Inspiring Life-long Learning for Over 25 Years

Our daughter, Alela (4), started at Da Vinci Waldorf School in the Parent-Child Program and is now in her second year in Apple Blossom Garden. We are so excited for our son, Will (1), to join the community.
We love that the children are outside throughout the day in every kind of weather, and that there are no screens until middle school, when they are introduced as a tool. The classes are small, and the children learn at their own pace without being pulled out of the group. Alela's teachers know her well enough to see what she's ready for, and the days have a rhythm she carries home with her.
I joined the Board in January and became President in September. I enjoy supporting the school's mission through governance and strategic planning, and a lot of my time also goes to the garden, the grounds, and the building. When I'm not volunteering, I run a small consultancy called VeritOps for local manufacturing businesses.
I'm grateful for the chance to help lead this school. Volunteering here has already given me more time with my daughter and a stronger connection to the people in our community.
