I am a proud Da Vinci parent, and my son, Seb, currently attends Sunflower Garden. Originally from Costa Rica, my wife and I relocated permanently to the United States in 2016 and have been based in Illinois since 2018.

Holding a degree in Industrial Engineering, I bring 25 years of experience across the life sciences industry (Pharma & Medical Device). My expertise encompasses operational excellence, enterprise quality management, process improvement, organizational design, change management, and global business transformation. Throughout my career, I have held leadership positions with organizations such as Abbott, Hospira, GSK, Hollister Incorporated, and McKesson. Having had the privilege of leading initiatives across multiple countries, I deeply value cultural diversity and cross-functional collaboration. Just as Waldorf education cultivates the head, heart, and hands to foster whole human development, my journey across cultures and complex global systems has reinforced my belief that true growth—whether for individuals, organizations, or communities—relies on nurturing purpose, empathy, and practical action in equal measure.

Beyond my professional endeavors, I am an avid reader, enthusiast of motorsports (during the summer most likely you will find me at Road America in Wisconsin), and enjoy spending time at the beach with family.
