During farming class this week we were able to observe a Monarch butterfly which had just emerged from her chrysalis home (inside the chicken coop)!
3rd Grade - Rosh Hashanah
Third grade celebrated the Hebrew holy day of Rosh Hashanah with the telling of the Old Testament story Abraham’s Sacrifice of Isaac. This is a time of renewal toward obedience of authority, and one of joy for our blessings.
2nd & 3rd Grades - Saints & Heroes
Second grade began the year with stories of saints and heroes. This exploration guides students this age toward a reverence for the highest acts of humanity.
