Congratulations to DVWS Graduates 2017.
It's that time of year again! The air feels alive with excitement, anticipation and promise for the future. We spent last week wrapping things up—tying up loose ends and preparing for the end of another school year. Our kindergarteners graduated on Thursday by presenting a puppet show, using puppets they made themselves!
In the grades, the last full school day of the year was brought to a fun and exciting close with a pentathlon of silly events, including tug-of-war, a giant jenga competition, an event where the goal was for students to move an oreo from their forehead to their mouth without using their hands, and more, ending with a bona fide ice cream social.

Friday was bittersweet and beautiful as we celebrated 8th Grade Graduation. Congratulations to our graduates, their parents, and their many teachers. Happy Year! Happy Memories! Happy Summer!
