Watercolored Block Prints
The 6th, 7th and 8th graders have spent many weeks going through the steps to create these unique pieces of art. First they created original drawings during their study of illuminated letters as part of their medieval history studies with Miss Dudeck. Mrs. Ecklund then helped the students translate these images into block prints, which they used to create cards or artwork, which were finished with watercolors. Stop by and see these amazing pieces in the foyer at school!
