5th Grade - Fun Friday

The fifth grade had a marvelous day on Friday! They started off the day by hearing some Halloween stories by the famous storyteller Jim May. They also all enjoyed wearing pajamas to school for PAJAMA DAY!  The fifth grade current block is in North America Geography, and today they did a drawing of a scene on the eastern coast. Based on the drawing, the class had a discussion about what kind of habitats and weather one might find when heading north and east. Later on in the day they celebrated Halloween by carving pumpkins! No matter how many times you do it, it's still always fun. They ended the day by enjoying some delicious pumpkin seeds!
