Inspiring Life-long Learning for 25 Years

Last week the third graders presented their play for this year—"The Child of the Nile," by David Blair. It's the story of Moses from Hebrew Scriptures. During this year they have spent a great deal of time exploring Hebrew legends and learning about the Israelites and all of their struggles and triumphs. The story of Moses, in particular, has been an important milestone for the class as they consider what it means to be true, necessary and kind in their actions. From learning chorus lines to participating in creation of the props, the class really made this play their own and did a wonderful job bringing it to their audiences!
