3rd Grade Color Studies
Third grade is in the midst of various color studies. We have done a few of these—working to balance and blend colors, making them even and vibrant. We spend a great deal of time in third grade doing practical projects and using our thinking (for when engaging our hands requires us to think about the aspects of our projects). These paintings are meant to let us feel our way through color. There is great emotion and beauty in the simplicity of it.
