In our first math block of the year we learned how to form Roman and Arabic numerals, count forward and backward in sequence, and how math can help us share things evenly. We also began developing a sense of patterning and laid the foundation for multiplication in skip counting (counting some numbers out loud and others in our head in a pattern).
