988843 697486793662353 6823210196765898480 nWe are happy to announce that we have added an additional class to our Parent-Child program for Spring! A new Friday class begins April 5th. There are limited spots available, and they are filling fast. Parent-Child is a wonderful way for parents/grandparents/caregivers and children to begin their Waldorf Early Childhood journey together. Parent-Child provides a bridge for young children as they prepare for preschool and serves as a resource for parents who would like to incorporate Waldorf concepts into their home life. It is also a great way to establish community and a local support structure.

Classes are led by Ms. Margaret

Parent-Child classes mirror the rhythms and activities of a Waldorf Early Childhood classroom.

Parents/caregivers accompany their children (ages 1-3.5) in:

  • circle and story time
  • creating simple crafts
  • baking bread
  • playing games
  • enjoying physical movement
Parents have an opportunity to mingle with each other to discover the framework of Waldorf-inspired best practices. Parents explore the importance of rhythm in the home, the role of early movement in motor organization and speech development, and how to support their child's budding interest in play.

Classes meet once each week from 8:45-10:45 a.m.

Children and parents are welcome to join at any time during the session!

The fee will be prorated for those who begin after the session has begun.
