Next week begins our adventure into eurythmy! Thanks to prior Giving Circle donations, the Grades, Sunflower Garden & Apple Blossom Garden students will have the pleasure of experiencing this movement form, which is unique to Waldorf education—many of them for the first time!
We will enjoy this block for the three weeks prior to our Thanksgiving break with a visiting eurythmy teacher, Sarah Weber.
Are you curious to know more about this art form that your child will be learning? Please RSVP to join us!
Eurythmy was brought by Rudolf Steiner and Marie von Sivers prior to the start of the Waldorf School movement as an art form which "makes music and speech visible". It is a true soul experience for the students, and we are thrilled to be able to offer this to them! There will also be a parent evening regarding eurythmy on Tuesday, November 12th (see details below.) Please plan to come and learn more about what your children are experiencing!
Sarah Weber is a teacher training graduate of Sunbridge College, and a graduate of Eurythmy Spring Valley in New York. She lives in Spring Valley with her daughter Saskia, who is a recent graduate of Green Meadow Waldorf School.
