Nicole Javvaji is the Social Media Manager/In-House Artist.

I get to record special moments that happen here at school, and I love that I can share that with the parents and people who might not know what makes our school special. It is so wonderful to see little ones baking bread, kindergarteners learning to knit for the first time, and all of the grades students playing happily together at recess.

Before I had children, I was an elementary school teacher. I stayed home to raise my boys and grew a business painting murals, making artwork locally and teaching art and craft classes. When I discovered Waldorf education I was excited about the arts-focus, experiential learning, and the connection to nature.

The Da Vinci Waldorf School community is so beautiful. Everyone knows everyone, and people really care about each other. Newcomers are immediately welcomed into the fold. Students and teachers are accepted for who they are and their strengths are celebrated.

I hope students at Da Vinci Waldorf School take with them a lifelong love of learning.

In my free time I paint, do yoga, go for hikes, and travel.
