Inspiring life-long learning in all students.
Laura Schultz teaches farming and movement classes for the grade school.
I attended University of Illinois Champaign-Urbana and graduated with a degree in Earth Systems, Society and the Environment and minored in Education at College of Lake County.
I came to Da Vinci Waldorf School through my children. I was looking for a play based preschool and stayed for the chickens. Da Vinci Waldorf School is a beautiful cooperative school. We all work together as both teachers and parents to grow our school and nurture our children.
I love how Waldorf education incorporates the arts into the curriculum, the dedication to play and time outside, and our whole school community.
When working with students, I hope to impart a lifelong love of keeping their bodies, minds, and spirits healthy through a love of movement and an understanding of what real whole food looks and tastes like.
I spend my free time with my husband and two children working on our farm as well as teaching and practicing yoga.
