Parent-child class at the DaVinci Waldorf School is a nourishing space for little ones to move through the early childhood experience alongside loving parents and caregivers. Friendships are formed between children and parents alike! Parent discussion offers a time to build relationships and explore the importance of rhythm in the home, the role of early movement in motor organization and speech development, and how to support the young child’s budding interest in play. Offering children rich opportunities, indoors and out, to develop their bodies and engage their minds.

With a rhythm that mirrors our early childhood classrooms, the Parent-Child program is bridge for families into Waldorf education.

Storytelling & Activities
Children and parents enjoy story time, creating simple crafts, playing games and enjoying physical movement. Together we bake bread and make veggie soup for our daily snack.

Classrooms
Classrooms are naturally lit with window and candlelight. Simple wooden toys and child-size furnishings create a cozy sanctuary for sprouting imaginations.

Outdoors
Time outdoors is a priority—sunshine, rain, or snow. Our campus has gardens and playgrounds made of natural materials—wood, rope, sand, and earth—where children can run, swing, climb, and explore.

Parents
Parents often make discoveries of their own during our classes, as we discuss the importance of establishing a rhythm at home and how best to implement Waldorf principles in their own family lives.

Cancellation Policy
A full refund will be given for cancellations before class begins.  Once class has started, class fees will be held on your account and applied to a future class.
