SUMMARY:EC Talk: Developmentally Appropriate Behavior and Waldorf Discipline
DESCRIPTION:Come spend an afternoon with our Da Vinci Waldorf Care Group* and Early Childhood team to discuss developmentally appropriate behavior for children and how Waldorf education handles discipline. We hope you will share your experiences with us as we hold space for this topic. Our meeting will be rich with discussion and support that will help us grow together as a community. \nChildcare will be provided. Please RSVP and/or sign up for childcare for the event before 4/9/23. \nWhat is Da Vinci Waldorf Care Group?The task of the Da Vinci Waldorf Care Group is to support the individual growth\, development\, and well-being of the students in the school. To this end\, the group supports and facilitates child study\, class study; studies Steiner and current literature regarding child development and soul care; provides classroom and collegial support for teachers; coordinates tutoring\, remedial programs\, and outside services for individual students; reviews assessments; communicates with parents regarding needs for remedial support or tutoring.
