Michaelmas – A Festival of Courage – Celebration Begins This Friday Tuesday, September 25, 2018 - Michaelmas season is here once again! Students will kick off this month-long celebration during the school day this Friday, September 28th. Grades students will not need to bring snack or lunch this Friday, 9/28. The school will provide the necessary ingredients for this shared meal, although donations are welcome for groceries. Each class is responsible for part of the meal and its distribution. Students will bake, churn, chop or pop the healthy and nutritious food we’ll share. Thanks to Giving Circle From Apple Blossom Garden Saturday, September 22, 2018 - From the bottom of our hearts we are thankful to everyone who supported our Giving Circle last year. Your gifts last year are the reason we are able to enjoy our beautiful new floor in the Apple Blossom Garden classroom this year! AWSNA Summer Conference – Thank You! Saturday, September 22, 2018 - The annual AWSNA summer conference was extremely interesting this year. There were schools represented from across the country—even one from Australia! The topic of this conference was diversity, which left many of us feeling the impact of our suburban demographics. The speakers included a few Waldorf alumni sharing stories of how, even in a Waldorf school, they struggled with their differences. It was quite powerful, indeed.
