Overview

Welcome!

Children thrive at Da Vinci Waldorf School. We believe that children deserve an inspired education that allows them to grow up balanced, confident, and able to think for themselves. The journey begins in our parent-child program, moving seamlessly into our warm, homelike, play-based preschool and kindergarten.  Our developmentally-based curriculum in grade school includes music, arts, and outdoor play for all students every day, multi-sensory and experiential learning, and academic excellence without high-stakes testing.

When children relate what they learn to their own experience, they are interested and fully engaged, and what they learn becomes their own. Da Vinci Waldorf School is designed to foster this kind of learning.

Parent-Child Program

The Parent-Child class is a once-per-week class for children ages 12 months to 3.5 years old (and their grownups!) The Parent-Child experience echoes the rhythms and atmosphere of our Preschool & Kindergarten classrooms, serving as a perfect bridge for young children as they prepare for preschool.  More information can be found here.

Preschool & Kindergarten

Our Preschool & Kindergarten program currently consists of three classrooms—

  • Apple Blossom Garden
  • Sunflower Garden
  • Wonder Garden.

Apple Blossom Garden and Sunflower Garden are both mixed-age classes from age 4-6. We offer flexible 2, 3, 4 and 5 day options for these classes. Wonder Garden is for our littlest preschoolers, ages 2-3. Wonder Garden offers 2, 3 and 4 day programs.

Preschool and Kindergarten classes are from 8:30 a.m.–12:30 p.m., with optional, flexible Extended Day until 3:30. An Aftercare program is available until 6 p.m., when there is enough interest (check here for the current schedule.) Enrollment for preschool/Kindergarten is ongoing; parents are welcome to enroll mid-session for a prorated fee as long as space is available. A 10% sibling discount is available to families with more than one child in the early childhood program.
