1st Grade – Folk Dancing

First grade enjoyed folk dancing with the teaching duo Jutta Distler and Terran Doehrer (Jutta & the Hi-Dukes). Physical coordination is enhanced by the coordinated, structured, and rhythmic movements of dance and awareness of music is developed as students learn dance steps that change when a musical phrase changes.
